Approach and anchoring
The park lies just south of US 41 at the Ruskin Inlet, giving access to the Little Manatee River and the lower reaches of Tampa Bay. Shelter is limited, with cover only from the west. Check the headroom under the 4th Street SW bridge before heading down towards Tampa Bay.
Practical
Ashore the county park has a two-lane paved boat ramp, a floating courtesy dock and fishing docks, with parking for about eight trailers. There are no toilets on site. Little Harbor Marinas and Cabbage Creek Dock lie about 2 nautical miles to the west.

The Little Manatee River is designated an Outstanding Florida Water and carries a 10-mile paddling trail near Ruskin. The river is fished for snook, redfish, trout and mullet.
