Lincoln Harbor
- Type
- Harbour
Marina at Weehawken on the New Jersey bank of the Hudson River, south of the Lincoln Tunnel and opposite midtown Manhattan.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Entered directly from the Hudson with approach depths around 12 feet. The river current runs strongly through this reach on both ebb and flood, and the main channel carries heavy ferry and commercial traffic, so keep a sharp lookout on the approach.
Practical
A marina of about 250 berths taking boats to roughly 220 feet, with shore power and water on the pontoons. The basin sits within a waterfront development of restaurants and shops.
Ashore
NY Waterway ferries run from Lincoln Harbor terminal to Pier 78 on West 39th Street in Manhattan, a crossing of about six minutes. Midtown Manhattan lies around one and a half miles across the river.
