Approach and anchoring
Rock bottom, holding variable, drop the anchor clear of the kelp patches. Protected from the NW, N, NE, W and SW quadrants by the peninsula, open to the S and SE where swell from the Mor Braz enters freely. Avoid in any southerly breeze. Approach by day, numerous unmarked rocks close inshore.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port de Saint-Jacques at 0.4 NM SW has a drying harbour with visitor berths, water and a slipway. Port aux Moines at 2 NM W offers another drying option. Shops in Saint-Jacques village 200 m from the port.
