Approach and anchoring
Approach from the baie de Cavalaire with the cap Lardier to the SW. Drop on sand in 5 to 10 m, the bottom turns to rock towards the shore so sound carefully before letting go. Shelter from the N sector; exposed to the E swell and to the libeccio from the SW.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Port de Cavalaire 1,2 NM to the NE with fuel, water and full harbour services. Le Lavandou 6,4 NM to the W.
Ashore
Cap Lardier is part of the Conservatoire du Littoral estate, with the sentier du littoral running along the coast towards la Croix-Valmer. Posidonia meadows around the anchorage are part of the Natura 2000 zone Corniche Varoise.
