Approach and anchoring
Approach from the S along the coast. Shelter from winds in the N, NE and NW sector, including the mistral which is already reduced by the Maures hills. Open to the E and SE. Cavalaire is the nearest refuge 1.5 NM NE, Le Lavandou 6.2 NM W.
Practical
Forain anchorage on sand in 5 to 10 m. No services on site. Water, fuel and berths at Cavalaire marina to the NE. The Rayol-Canadel train halt on the coastal line of the Var is within walking distance for access to Toulon and Saint-Raphaël.
