Small tidal harbour on the east side of the Cherbourg peninsula, 5 km east of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Normandy.

Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north-east along the coast from Cap Lévi. Entry between two short jetties with green and red lights. The harbour dries at low water of springs; keel boats can enter within HW plus or minus 2 hours 30. Strong tidal streams in the Raz de Barfleur 8 miles to the east require careful timing.
Practical
Moorings on buoys and a short pontoon managed by the commune. Water on the quay. Slipway usable around high water. No fuel at the port; nearest fuel berth at Port Chantereyne in Cherbourg, 2.9 nautical miles west. Bakery and bar at Le Becquet village, 300 metres inland.
Ashore
Coastal path runs east along the cliffs towards Cap Lévi lighthouse, 7 km section. Small shingle beach north of the harbour. The gardens of the Château des Ravalet at Tourlaville are 3 km inland, open to the public, listed Jardin Remarquable.
