Approach and anchoring

Reached from the San Joaquin River near the south end of the Antioch Bridge. Address 115 Lauritzen Lane. Two-lane concrete launch ramp 100 ft wide. 24-hour security on site.

Practical

137 open and covered berths for boats from 20 to 40 ft, plus dry storage for 300 boats and 70 trailer spaces. Fuel berth, pump-out, shore power, boat washdown, haul-out and repair. Convenience store, restaurant, toilets, ice and fish cleaning station.

History

The Lauritzen family settled this stretch of the Delta when transport ran on boats, barges and skiffs. The concrete launch ramp was poured in 1959, marking the formal opening of the harbour on its 18.5-acre plot.
