Approach and anchoring
Approach from the San Joaquin River, 3 miles west of the Antioch Bridge. Freshwater, tidal influence with limited range. Concrete docks for boats from 24 to 50 ft.
Practical
Berths from 24 to 50 ft on concrete docks, $6 per foot uncovered and $7.50 covered. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, shore power, fresh water, showers, laundry, convenience store, fish-cleaning station and ice. Public launch ramp at $5 per launch. VHF 16. Phone +1 925 779 6957.
Ashore
Antioch riverfront walking path along the marina, with restaurant, lawns and picnic areas. Dow Wetlands Preserve, 200 acres of restored marsh adjoining the marina and accessible by kayak from the river.
Story
Birdwatchers regularly spot great blue herons, snowy egrets and white-faced ibis from the marina pontoons.
