Approach and anchoring
Reached from the San Joaquin River through the Big Break opening, north of Oakley. Address 100 Big Break Road. Fuel berth and launch ramp on site. No tidal constraints worth noting for shallow-draught boats.
Practical
120 berths for boats up to 80 ft, water and shore power on the pontoons. Fuel berth, pump-out, fish cleaning station, bait and tackle shop. Kayak and paddleboard hire on the marina forecourt.
Ashore
Big Break Regional Shoreline starts at the marina gate, 1,648 acres of tidal sloughs and freshwater marsh managed by East Bay Regional Park District. Delta Visitor Center 200 m east at 69 Big Break Road, open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. Marsh Creek Regional Trail runs south from the park.
