Approach and anchoring
From the main San Diego Bay channel, follow the marked entrance into the Shelter Island Yacht Basin. The marina is on the western end of the basin, in protected water once inside. Hail on VHF 68 for berth assignment.
Practical
520 berths from 9 to 76 metres LOA. 30 and 100 amp shore power at every berth, fresh water, pump-out, showers, laundry, free WiFi and secure parking. On-site restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub.
Ashore
Shelter Island Shoreline Park runs along the basin. Liberty Station, with its food hall and shops, is 3 km north. Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma is 6 km by road, with views over the bay and the Pacific.
