Approach and anchoring
Enter Huntington Bay from Long Island Sound and make for Huntington Harbour Light, keeping east of the lighthouse where rocks lie close to the west. The marked channel carries about 8 feet and runs roughly a mile to the south-east; tidal streams in the entrance reach 2 knots.
Practical
Locked and gated pontoons with 24-hour key access for berth holders, fenced yard and camera monitoring. The yard handles winter storage, shrink-wrapping and detailing. On-site engine repair is run by Halesite Boat and Motor.
History
The marina has occupied the same Halesite waterfront since 1937 and remains family-run.
