Approach and anchoring

Northport Harbour is entered by a marked channel from Long Island Sound. The club lies on the harbour's west shore, with Seymour's Boatyard about 0.3 miles to the east.

Practical

Member moorings assigned each season by boat size and seniority; guest moorings are reserved through Dockwa and are limited to visitors from reciprocal yacht clubs. On site there are a pool with lifeguards, a restaurant and bar, and a junior sailing programme. The club also keeps destination moorings in Lloyd Harbour and at Conscience Bay, Port Jefferson.
