Guide
Approach and anchoring
From Chesapeake Bay, make for flashing green 1 and red daybeacon 2 at the creek mouth. The channel is narrow but well marked and carries about 10 feet; stay mid-channel through G3, R4 and G5 at the dog-leg, as the markers shoal. Inside, anchor in the western branch on the south-west side of the peninsula for the quietest water. Mud bottom, sheltered all round.
Practical
Deltaville Boatyard is 0.4 mile to the north-east for haul-out and repairs, and Nomad Norview Marina lies 1.3 miles to the north-east for fuel and berths.
