Approach and anchoring
Approach through the Piankatank River entrance, following the navigational marks on a twisting channel carrying about 16 feet at low water. The basin holds 15 to 18 feet over mud. Good shelter from north, east and west; open to the prevailing summer southerlies.
Practical
Deltaville Boatyard lies 0.6 nm to the north-east and Nomad Norview Marina 1.5 nm in the same direction. Fresh water is available nearby. The bay has room for more than a dozen boats at anchor.
