Approach and anchoring

Enter Ashtabula Harbor between the federal breakwaters on Lake Erie, then head up the Ashtabula River past the lift bridge. Approach depth around 7 feet, dockside about 3 feet. Vessels up to 45 feet.

Ashore

Bridge Street historic district 1 km north across the lift bridge, with restaurants and the Ashtabula Marine Museum on Walnut Boulevard. Walnut Beach Park sits 1.5 km west along the lakefront.
