Private members club at 1301 Marina Drive in Conneaut Harbor, on the Ohio shore of Lake Erie near the Pennsylvania state line. Founded in 1946.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter Conneaut Harbor between the two breakwaters. The 4,500 ft west breakwater dates from 1910 and carries a lighthouse activated in 1920. The harbour is rated as a harbour of refuge on the south shore of Lake Erie.
Practical
Transient berths up to 50 ft on a first-come basis at 2 USD per foot per night. Water, cable and pump-out at the pontoons. Heads and showers, ice and snacks, members bar. Membership requires sponsorship by two existing members.
Ashore
Conneaut township centre and Conneaut Township Park beach are within 1.5 km. The next refuge to the south-west is North Coast Marina on the Ashtabula River, about 12 nm away.
