Approach and anchoring

Approach through the marked channel of the golfe between Arradon and the Île aux Moines. Tidal streams run 3 to 5 knots on springs in the passes of the golfe; plan the transit at slack or with the fair tide. Sand and seagrass bottom; one marked spot with limited swinging room between the two islets.

Practical

Single mooring spot between the islets, no service. Shelter from S and SE winds, exposed to northerlies. Arradon 0.4 NM W offers visitor moorings run by the SAGEMOR and a shore landing at the Pointe d'Arradon. Cale du Beluré 1.1 NM E on the Île aux Moines is the alternative landing toward the village.

Ashore

The Logoden islets are private but the surrounding waters are part of the Natura 2000 Golfe du Morbihan site. Arradon village with shops and restaurants lies 500 m from the Pointe d'Arradon landing. The Île aux Moines coastal loop on foot from the Cale du Beluré reaches the Bois d'Amour and the cromlech of Kergonan in about 40 minutes.
