Approach and anchoring
Approach by the north passage between Île Millau and the mainland, avoiding the drying rocks marked on SHOM chart 7125. Sand holding. Shelter from NE, E, SE, S and SW. Exposed to N and NW winds. No VHF dedicated service.
Practical
About 10 moorings off the island, no services. Trébeurden marina 0.4 NM E for water, diesel, electricity and shops, Port Saint-Sauveur 1.4 NM N as an alternative.
Ashore
Île Millau is an ornithological reserve managed by the LPO, landing regulated in the bird nesting season from April to August. Trébeurden beaches of Tresmeur and Pors Mabo are within 1 km of the anchorage by dinghy.
