Approach and anchoring
Anchoring is prohibited here. The Iles Saint-Marcouf are a classified bird reserve managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral, with landing and anchoring restrictions. Bottom is sand, sheltered from NW, N and NE, but the area must be avoided.
Practical
No services, anchoring not permitted. Nearest refuges are Quineville 5.6 NM W and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue 7.2 NM NW, the latter with lock-gated marina, fuel and full provisioning.
