Hinch Marina
- Type
- Harbour
Family-run marina and boatyard on Ocean Drive in Cape May Harbor, New Jersey, with direct access to the Cape May Inlet.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Atlantic through the Cape May Inlet, a deep, all-weather entrance protected by rock jetties, then west into Cape May Harbor. Depths inside the inlet run 19 to 25 feet, but a strong current against the wind raises a short chop. The marina sits a short run inside the harbour.
Practical
Around 95 berths on floating pontoons. Water, shore power, petrol, ice and a ship store. There is a travel lift and winter storage on the yard, plus restrooms, showers and a bait and tackle counter.
History
Hinch Marina has run as a family business since 1971.
