Guide

Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Atlantic through Cape May Inlet, then north along the Intracoastal Waterway behind the Wildwood barrier island. The back-bay channels carry shifting shoals, so a rising tide eases the approach for deeper-draught yachts.

Practical

The club offers transient side-tie dockage for visiting yachts up to 50 feet overall and 20 feet beam. Restrooms and showers are available, with an on-site restaurant and a bar overlooking the harbour. Dockage reciprocity extends to clubs in the Yachting Club of America register.

Ashore

Snug Harbor Marina lies 0.4 nautical mile to the north and R J Marine Services 0.5 mile to the north-east. The Wildwood ocean beaches and boardwalk are a short walk across the island.
