Approach and anchoring
Access from the Rhône navigable channel, between the locks of Sablons upstream and Gervans downstream. Maximum draught 1.5 m at the pontoon. Watch for the current and for wash from commercial traffic.

Four berths. No fuel berth. Village of Chavanay within walking distance for bakery and small shops.
Ashore
Saint-Joseph and Condrieu vineyards run along the slopes above the village. Footpaths climb into the Viognier terraces of Condrieu, with the cru Condrieu vineyards around 2 km north.
