Approach and anchoring
Entrance over the Laïta bar between Le Pouldu and Guidel-Plages, crossable with sufficient rise of tide. Buoyed channel up the estuary to the marina, 2 m draught available at half-tide. Swell breaks on the bar in fresh SW winds. VHF 9.
Practical
220 berths on pontoons in the estuary, water and electricity on pontoons, sanitaries with showers. Small supermarket and bakery in Guidel-Plages 2 km from the marina. Guidel town centre and train station 5 km inland.
Ashore
GR34 coastal path along the Laïta, following the river inland to the ruins of the abbaye Saint-Maurice at 3 km, a Cistercian foundation dating from 1177. Plage du Loc'h and Plage de la Falaise at Guidel-Plages accessible by footpath at 2 km.
