Marina and storage facility on Four Point Road in Dulac, Louisiana, on the Bayou Grand Caillou marsh network in Terrebonne Parish.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached by water from Bayou Grand Caillou and the Houma Navigation Canal, or by road at 1171 Four Point Road. Open daily 5am to 9pm. Staff help with mooring and launch manoeuvres.
Practical
Boat ramps, dry storage and a tackle and bait supply. The site has been a Louisiana Clean Marina since 2014, meaning it meets the state programme's environmental management standards. Used mostly by inshore anglers heading for the surrounding redfish and speckled trout grounds.
Ashore
Dulac is a working bayou community with a fuel station and convenience shops along Grand Caillou Road. No visitor facilities, the marsh fishing is the reason boats call here.
