Reached from Lake Michigan through the Burns Waterway, no lock on the route. Takes vessels up to 12 metres with up to 2.4 metres draught.

There are 52 berths in the water, with 30-amp shore power, a launch ramp, trailer parking and restrooms. The yard is a year-round marine engine service, with a 30-ton hoist for haul-out and launch. A ship store stocks provisions. Run by the Doyne family since 1955.
