Approach and anchoring
Entered from the Chesapeake Bay by way of the Severn River, then up Back Creek. The creek is well marked and sheltered from the prevailing winds. Berths are limited, so call ahead.
Practical
Wet berths only. Back Creek is the heart of the Annapolis marine trades, with yards, chandlers and repair firms within a short distance. The shops, restaurants and the historic centre of Annapolis are a short walk or water taxi away.
