Approach and anchoring
Enter Back Creek from the Severn River and follow the marked channel up the creek. The basin sits at the mouth of Back Creek and is sheltered by a solid breakwater pier. No tidal restriction on Chesapeake Bay, where the range stays under half a metre.
Practical
Berths from 30 to 70 feet for annual leaseholders, with transient dockage available and depth taking yachts drawing up to 12 feet. Each berth has 30 to 100 amp shore power, fresh water and cable. Restrooms and showers for berth holders, plus a pump-out station.
Ashore
Downtown Annapolis and the State House are about 2 km away by water taxi or road. Restaurants and shops line the Eastport waterfront within walking distance.
