Guide

Approach and anchoring

Reached through the narrow marked channel into Hamburg Cove off the main river, then on to the inner cove. Floating docks carry 6.0 to 8.5ft of water. Charts and the inner cove marks should be checked before entering.

Practical

60 berths, 3 of them transient, for boats up to 50ft. Shore power 30 and 50 amp, water, WiFi, pumpout, heads, showers, laundry, ice and a chandlery. Yard work runs from yearly maintenance to full restorations and wooden boat overhauls. Run by John R. Leonard since 1978.
