Approach and anchoring
In East Ferry harbour, on the east shore of Conanicut Island, south of the Newport Bridge. The club launch Bruce B works on VHF 72 within the harbour area.
Practical
The club maintains 29 seasonal moorings for members and visiting guests. Waterfront with a pier, floating dock, boat ramp and seasonal launch service. Small boat storage on site.
History
The club was incorporated on 7 October 1892. Its first clubhouse, built on pilings over the water, opened in 1894. After Hurricane Carol destroyed the pier and clubhouse in 1954, the club moved to an 1890s shingle-style cottage on Bay View Drive.
