Approach and anchoring
Lies on the west bank of the AICW between Currituck Sound and the North River, just south of the Coinjock Bridge at MM 50. A 1,000-foot face dock runs along the waterway with an easy straight approach in deep water for vessels with deep draught.
Practical
30 slips taking vessels up to 140 feet, with 30, 50 and 100-amp power, water, WiFi, cable TV, laundry, bathhouses and pump-out. Fuel berth open 0800 to 1900 daily with diesel and petrol from high-speed pumps. On-site restaurant on the waterway. Address 321 Waterlily Road, Coinjock, NC.
Ashore
Coinjock is a one-road waterway stop with the marina restaurant, a small store and little else within walking distance. Crews use the marina as an overnight halt between Norfolk and Albemarle Sound rather than a destination ashore.
Story
The marina restaurant is known on the AICW for its 32-ounce prime rib, voted by America's Great Loop Cruisers' Association as one of the best dining stops on the 6,000-mile Great Loop.
