Public marina on Charleston Harbour at the foot of Wharfside Street, on the downtown peninsula near the junction of Calhoun and Concord streets.

Guide

Approach and anchoring

Open to the harbour with deep water alongside, the dockside carrying about 20 feet. A mix of fixed and floating docks. Exposed to harbour wash and wind from the east.

Practical

Thirty berths, of which 24 are kept for visitors, taking vessels up to 120 feet. Shore power at 30 and 50 amp. Fuel berth selling 89 octane ethanol-free petrol, open Monday to Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Ashore

The historic district starts at the gate. The City Market is about a 10-minute walk and the King Street shops a little further, with hotels and restaurants in between. The South Carolina Aquarium is next door on Concord Street.
