Approach and anchoring

The Canaveral Barge Canal runs east to west across Merritt Island, joining the ICW on the Indian River with the Banana River, Port Canaveral and the Atlantic. Cocoa Village lies about 3 miles south on the Indian River.

Practical

Renewed marina with new seawalls and docks, around 145 deep-water berths for monthly, oversize and transient boats. Power pedestals at 30 and 50 amp, water and a pump-out at each berth, restrooms and showers ashore.

Ashore

The marina forms part of a resort with island-style townhomes. Kayak, paddleboard and pontoon rentals are offered on site for exploring the canal and the two rivers.
