Approach and anchoring
The Canaveral Barge Canal links the Indian and Banana Rivers, giving a deep-water route through to Port Canaveral and the Atlantic. The marina monitors VHF channel 16; the office keeps daily hours from 0730 to 1700.
Practical
More than 500 berths between wet slips, covered rack storage and outside cradle storage. Fuel berth selling REC90 ethanol-free petrol and diesel with ValvTect additive, pump-out, a chandlery and laundry. A do-it-yourself boatyard with travel lift handles haul-outs.
Ashore
Port Canaveral, with its cruise terminals and offshore charter fleet, lies about 5 miles east at the seaward end of the barge canal.
