Mud bottom, sheltered from west through south-east. The Banana River channel here is well marked, and the Canaveral Barge Canal links west to the Indian River and east to Port Canaveral through the Canaveral Lock.

No facilities on site. Port Canaveral Yacht Club lies 1 mile east and Scorpion Marine 1 mile south-east.
Story
Canaveral Lock, on the eastern arm of the barge canal, is the largest navigation lock in Florida. Passage is free of charge and takes 20 to 30 minutes.
