Guide
Approach and anchoring
Straightforward approach from seaward, no off-lying dangers. Bottom of rock patches over sand, holding reasonable on the sand but poor on the flat rock. Sheltered from S, SW and W. Exposed to the marin from E and to swell from NE. The tramontane blows offshore here and flattens the sea but pushes boats out.
Practical
Day anchorage in settled weather. Port Leucate lies 3.3 nm to the south and Port-la-Nouvelle 6 nm to the north for overnight shelter. No services ashore at the cape itself.
