Small cove on the north coast of Île du Levant, Var, with a rocky bottom and open exposure to the east.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the channel between Port-Cros and Le Levant. Bottom is rock, so anchor holding is poor and chain tends to foul. Zone is under military control for most of the island, and anchoring here is prohibited under the prefectoral order governing the Levant naval range. Nearest refuges are L'Ayguade du Levant 3.9 NM SW and Port-Cros 6.1 NM SW.
Practical
No services on site. Landing on the surrounding coast is forbidden outside the civilian zone of Héliopolis. Use L'Ayguade for water, bread and restaurants; use Port-Cros for the national park mooring field on buoy.
