Approach and anchoring
Reached from the upper Chesapeake Bay by way of the Bush River, which carries depths of 8 to 11ft. The club sits high on the west bank, with Otter Creek and Otter Point lying 1.2 miles to the south-west.
Practical
Floating docks, a fuel berth and a pumpout station. Ashore there is a clubhouse and a swimming pool. The club holds Maryland Clean Marina certification. It is not a transient marina, so contact the club before arriving.
History
Bush River Yacht Club was founded in 1939 and is a member of the Chesapeake Bay Yacht Clubs Association.
