Public guest dock attached to Burton W. Chace Park in the middle of Marina del Rey, the large man-made harbour on the coast of Los Angeles County.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter Marina del Rey from Santa Monica Bay through the main channel, between the north and south jetties, then bear east to basin H where Chace Park sits at the head. Office open daily 8:00 to 20:00, contact LA County Beaches and Harbors before arriving.
Practical
Around 15 berths on the public guest dock. Four-hour day berths used on a first come first served basis within a 24 hour window, overnight stays up to seven nights within a 30 day period. Restrooms, picnic shelters, barbecues and a multi-purpose room on the park itself. No fuel berth at Chace Park.
Ashore
Marina del Rey waterfront, Fisherman's Village shops at 800 m south, Mother's Beach swimming lagoon at 600 m west. South Bay Bicycle Trail joins the harbour and runs north to Santa Monica and south to Redondo Beach.
