Guide

Approach and anchoring

The bay here is open to the south and lies exposed to wind and swell, so the spot is used mainly as a fair-weather daytime stop rather than a place to leave a boat unattended. Craft not suited to the surf must stay at least 300 yards offshore, and further out in heavy surf. Permitted moorings on this stretch of coast are very limited.

Practical

There are no facilities at the mooring. The nearest harbour services are around 7 nm SE in Marina del Rey, where Marina Yacht Club and the Wayfarer berths offer fuel, water and shelter.
