Approach and anchoring
Rocky Bayou opens off the north shore of Choctawhatchee Bay. The bay connects to the Gulf of Mexico through East Pass at Destin. VHF 16.
Practical
More than 120 berths offering permanent and guest dockage, with shore power, water and a fuelling station. There is an indoor boat storage building and a ship and tackle store. Maximum draught is about 2.1 metres.
Ashore
LJ Schooners restaurant and oyster bar sits on the marina itself, with a beach area, live music and a Sunday brunch served until 1pm. The Bluewater Bay residential community surrounds the complex.
