Destin Marina
- Type
- Harbour
Marina on the north shore of Destin Harbour, Florida, one of the harbour's oldest landings and a base for charter fishing boats on the Emerald Coast.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Gulf of Mexico through East Pass, the only inlet linking Choctawhatchee Bay to the open sea. The dredged channel holds about 4.4 metres at mean low water. From the pass, run east along Destin Harbour to the marina on the north shore.
Practical
Wet berths for charter boats and visitors, fresh water and shore power on the pontoons. Fuel, provisions and tackle shops sit within a short walk along the harbour front.
Ashore
Restaurants and bars line Harbor Boulevard at the marina front. Crab Island, a shallow sandbar popular with anchored boats, lies just inside East Pass about 1 km west.
