Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Gulf of Mexico through East Pass, the inlet between the two rock jetties. The dredged channel carries about 4.4 metres at mean low water. From the pass, run east along Destin Harbour to the marina, which connects directly to East Pass and the Crab Island sandbar.

Practical

About 36 berths, 4 set aside for visitors on nightly, weekly or holiday stays, taking yachts to roughly 15 metres. Large fuel berth with five diesel pumps plus 89 and 93 octane petrol; staff can serve six 15-metre yachts at once. Ship's store on site. Harbour master on 850 337-8250.

Ashore

HarborWalk Village wraps the marina with shops, restaurants and live music. Margaritaville stands directly above the transient berths. Public beaches on the Gulf side lie about 1.5 km south by road.
