Approach and anchoring

Reached from the Gulf through East Pass, the channel between Moreno Point and Santa Rosa Island. The pass shoals and shifts between dredgings, so follow the red and green channel markers and avoid it in rough weather. The US 98 highway bridges give 49 feet of clearance.

Practical

Deepwater berths take boats to about 40 feet alongside. There is water, shore power and a pump-out. A harbour master is on site most mornings. Restaurants and shops line the Destin Harbour boardwalk within walking distance.
