Approach and anchoring

On the ICW on Winyah Bay, around 3 nautical miles south of downtown Georgetown. Fixed and floating pontoons take vessels up to 40 feet. Approach depth about 3.6 feet, dockside about 6 feet, so plan arrival around the tide. A fuel berth and ship store are on site.

Practical

80 berths in total, 10 of them for visitors. Restrooms, hot showers and a laundry. The Marina Bistro opens to the public Thursday to Sunday.

Ashore

The bay's east shore faces several thousand acres of pine forest and salt marsh kept for marine conservation, with no development on the skyline opposite the marina.
