Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter from the bay west of Back River Reef, marked by buoy BR about 3 nautical miles east of Plum Tree Point. The river is shoal in places and bordered by extensive marsh, so favour the marked channel. Marina Cove Boat Basin lies 0.7 nautical miles to the south-east.
Practical
Anchor over mud, which holds well. Protected from NW through S, open to the east. Dandy Haven Marina, 1.4 nautical miles east, has berths, fuel and repairs.
