Approach and anchoring

Enter Sandusky Bay from Lake Erie through the outer marked channel and Inner Straight Channel. The marina lies on the south bank at the foot of downtown, on the west side of Battery Park itself. Floating berths accommodate vessels up to 40 metres. Watch for shallowing across the bay on southwesterly winds.

Practical

650 berths, seasonal and transient, taking boats up to 40 metres. Water, 30 and 50 amp shore power, cable TV and Wi-Fi at each berth. Fuel berth with petrol and diesel, pump-out station. Nautical retail store on site, showers, heads and laundry. Heated swimming pool, 5-acre wooded park with picnic spots and walking paths, tennis courts.

Ashore

Downtown Sandusky restaurants and shops a few minutes on foot. Cedar Point amusement park sits across the bay on the peninsula opposite. Jackson Street ferry terminal nearby for the Lake Erie islands.
