Approach and anchoring

Enter Sandusky Bay from Lake Erie through the marked outer channel, then the Inner Straight Channel toward Sandusky. The marina lies on the south bank in the city. Floating pontoons throughout. Water depth alongside about 2.7 metres. Wind-driven seiches can drop levels on southwesterly winds.

Practical

350 berths for boats up to 18 metres on floating concrete pontoons. Fuel berth supplying 90-octane ethanol-free petrol. Free 24/7 self-service pump-out. Water and shore power on the pontoons, Wi-Fi, gated access with round-the-clock security. Showers and heads, private pool, picnic areas with grills, ship store. Indoor heated storage of 48 000 sq ft on site.

Ashore

Downtown Sandusky shops and restaurants within walking distance along the waterfront. Cedar Point amusement park sits across the bay on the peninsula opposite, about 3 km by water.
