Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, leaving Île de Bendor to the west. Anchor on sand patches between weed beds, in 4 to 7 metres. Shelter from E and SE winds. Exposed to the mistral from W and NW.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port Méditerranée at Sanary 0.4 NM NE, with water, fuel and visitor berths. La Coudoulière marina at Six-Fours 0.4 NM SE.
Ashore
Sanary-sur-Mer village at 900 m by dinghy to the old port, daily morning market on the quays, pastel fishermen's houses along the seafront. Maison Jean Moulin museum on the port, honouring the Resistance leader who lived in Sanary.
