Small drying harbour on the north-east shore of Bassin d'Arcachon, in the commune of Audenge.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Tidal access from the Bassin d'Arcachon only within roughly two hours either side of high water. The channel is marked by withies and unlit at night. Maximum draught reported at 1.5 m at high water. Keep clear of the surrounding oyster parks and stakes on the approach.
Practical
Five berths along the quay. The basin dries at low water, so the port is reserved for bilge-keelers and flat-bottomed craft. Water on the quay. Shops and a bakery in the village within 400 m. Nearest refuges are Port du Teich 2.2 NM south and Port de Biganos 2.4 NM south-east.
Ashore
Sentier du littoral along the oyster basins starts at the harbour. Open-air seawater swimming pool fed by the tide next to the port. Village centre with weekly market on Thursday morning, 400 m from the quay.
