Approach and anchoring
Entered through a breakwater that shelters the basin from the bay. The harbour sits close to Sandy Hook and the New York Harbor approaches. The fuel berth answers on VHF channel 9.
Practical
Around 236 berths, floating and fixed, taking vessels up to 130 feet, each with water and shore power. Transient berths available, charged from 3 dollars per foot per night. Fuel and pump-out, a bait and tackle store, hoist service and summer land storage for trailers up to 28 feet. Fuel berth open daily 1 April to 30 November, 7.30am to 5pm.
Ashore
Restaurants and a laundry are within walking distance of the basin. The town centre of Atlantic Highlands gives access to provisions on foot.
